Andreas, photographer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Although my portfolio comprises of images from themes like journalism, wildlife and travel photography, my real real passion lies within portraiture. I do believe, that everybody is beautiful and to capture the beauty of the human face and body is always a challenge that I love to work with. To take someones portrait is a form of dialogue, an interaction between two people that create the image together.
In case you wonder: The name backyardpicture stems from my habit, to look around all corners and into all backyards. I am curious and try to find new views as much as I can. One day in Kiev, I discovered this backyard, in the center of the city and yet like a long forgotten castle, hidden under trees.
